Learning, Leading, and Giving Back

Every experience adds a layer to who we become

The U&I Story

A space that shaped how I think, connect, and lead. At U&I, I teach young learners supported beyond their regular schooling, helping them explore English and life skills in an engaging and creative way. Each week’s session focuses on building their communication, confidence, and love for learning through interactive activities and meaningful conversations. This experience strengthened my ability to guide with patience, teach with empathy, and create environments where curiosity thrives and growth feels natural.

The Brigade Chapter

A journey built on discipline, leadership, and purpose. Being part of the Brigade at Kumaraguru was more than a role  it was a commitment to responsibility and growth. I learned how to lead by listening, guide through empathy, and stand strong with a team during challenges. The experience taught me team coordination, time management, and decision-making under pressure, while also shaping my confidence and grounding my values in service and integrity.

Projects

The app centered around questions like “What makes you lose track of time?” to craft meaningful career suggestions.

Smart BMS for 36V Electric Bicycle

Visionary | ProtoSem – Forge Accelerator | Oct 2024 – Jan 2025

Our team built a functional Battery Management System (BMS) prototype for a 36V e-bike battery. The BMS tracked temperature, voltage, current, and state of charge in real time. My role focused on refining the end-user narrative, explaining the BMS’s importance, and preparing a compelling pitch for demo day. I collaborated with electronics teammates despite not being from an EEE background.

Fog-Free Vision – Real-Time Video Clarity Enhancement

Team Lead | SIH 2023 – Smart India Hackathon

Developed a computer vision-based system to enhance live video feed in foggy weather. This was aimed at improving visibility for surveillance and traffic cameras. I contributed to the problem analysis, dataset collection, and testing user scenarios for evaluating clarity enhancement.

Experiences

Visionary & Product Strategist | Aug 2024 - Jan 2025

Led a multidisciplinary team in designing a real-world prototype during a month-long intensive tech-entrepreneurship fellowship. I shaped the problem statement, planned the roadmap, and helped deliver a functional prototype, learning to navigate tech conversations even without a technical background. This experience sharpened my skills in product thinking, team leadership, and translating ideas into actionable outcomes.

Kumaraguru College of Technology | Mar 2023 - Jul 2025

Managed sports events and collaborated with core team members to boost student engagement through athletic initiatives. My competitive table tennis background helped me stay grounded, disciplined, and confident in leadership roles.

Kumaraguru College of Technology | Dec 2024

Mentored multiple student teams working on real-world healthcare problem statements related to early detection and management of glaucoma. Acted as a bridge between student teams and a consulting ophthalmologist, helping teams ask the right medical questions and shape viable tech-driven solutions. This experience deepened my understanding of design thinking in healthcare and my ability to guide teams with empathy and clarity.
